The Beerdads welcome Tracy Bush aka The Nutrimom to our show this week (plus she brought food).
Tracy has dedicated herself to teaching about and advocating for allergen awareness in our daily foods. As the mother of children with life-threatening food allergies, as well as her own intolerances with certain foods, she has become a go-to resource for people and companies alike. Tracy brought along several gluten-free snacks, as well as a dip? paté? spread? made from cashew nuts (that was divine) to prove the point that allergen-free is not akin to eating cardboard.
Listen in for our take on the snacks, Tracy’s advice on living a normal life with allergies, and a host of laughs at Paul’s expense.
Our beer this week is Mystic Dragon Cider from Appalachian Mountain Cidery.
The show was recorded in the new Test Pattern Studios. Test Pattern is located at 701 N Trade Street in good ol’ WSNC. Check out the Test Pattern page for more on their happenings.
