Show 147: Could It Be Us?

The headlines are full of accusations and denials of sexual misconduct, sexual assault and so on. The #metoo movement is strong and is both protecting and empowering women to come forth about these things. But, on the other hand, there are a lot of people being “taken down” because of the allegations. Some have asked in the news if it’s gone too far; if it’s watered down the movement. One television celebrity even asked if we have gone from hearing all the accusations straight to “always believing.” It could be that that’s a dangerous prospect as it eliminates due process, but also, every voice should be heard, right? The Beer Dads discuss how it makes all of us, not just The Dads, but their sons or even the women in their lives have to be mindful as to actions, verbal or physical. It’s a touchy subject, for sure.

The Beer of the week is Black Lager from Devil’s Backbone.

The show was recorded at The Lab at Industry Hill. Industry Hill is a business-minded neighborhood in the former Warehouse District. In the district are restaurants, a chocolatier, a distillery, two breweries, a beverage company, an entertainment complex, textiles, packaging and much more to come. To find out more follow them on social media or visit the area’s website. Thanks so much to Industry Hill for having a place for us to bring you our podcasts.
