Show 187 – Feeding the Funds
Did you know that Beer Dad Jon is a fundraising beast? It’s true. He and his organization, the Piedmont Triad Apartment Association have been major fundraisers for several organizations but probably the biggest is for Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest North Carolina. This Friday, November 29, 2019, Dad Jon and his opponent, the much younger, much more fit, much more athletic and much less lethargic, Ray Wright will be competing in the Field Day to Feed to benefit SHFBNWNC. There could be tricycle races, sack races, egg races, amazing races, or a whole number of things. They are looking to raise $10000 by next week. To find out more, visit Dad Jon’s Facebook page, here. Dad Tim is doing a fundraiser for his birthday last week and it’s for Tourette Association of America. Find out more about that here.
The Beer of the week is Hatchet Coffee Porter by Booneshine.
