Show 197 – Classless of 2020
We have all gone through a lot because of the Covi-pocalypse. Jobs, the economy, and more. Outside of the people who have lost loved ones or themselves because of the pandemic, the ones that are most affected, even if only in ceremony and agency, is the Class of 2020. Beer Dad Tim’s son, “3B” is one of the Class of 2020. His journey started with a historic event as well. The day 3B’s mother and Beer Dad Tim found out that they were going to have a child, it was September 10, 2001. Joy and elation abounded. Then the next day… yeah. Then, most of his senior year in high school — the one year of school you actually look forward to, as you’re kings and queens of the mountain, most of your classes are probably filler, senior activities, prom, and you’re preparing yourself for a future. The Class of 2020 has totally been robbed of that “senior year.” The Beer Dads teleconference with 3B and talk about being a “graduate,” being part of the Class of 2020 and his future.
The Beer Dads recorded this episode via Zoom, sponsored by Bull’s Tavern!
The Beer of the week is whatever could be found in the fridges where they were. 3B had Coca-Cola.
The show was recorded at The Lab at Industry Hill. Industry Hill is a business-minded neighborhood in the former Warehouse District.
