Show 201 – Travel In the Times of ‘C That Must Not Be Named’
Travel is something many of us took for granted pre-C-19. We, as Americans, just went where we pleased, as we pleased, how we pleased. Now, our ability to travel depends on many factors, including our points of origin. Many of the northern states, which went through their own battles with the virus, has restricted travel to their states from the south, including North Carolina, where The Beer Dads are based and when and if we get to go anywhere, it’s generally within a few hours of “home.” Each of the Dads has done their own traveling in the last month. In this episode, they talk about where they went and the experiences they encountered whilst traveling. Was it easy? Was it safe? Did they feel intruded upon? Listen in to find out.
The Beer Dads recorded this episode via Zoom, sponsored by Bull’s Tavern!
The Beer of the week is whatever could be found in the fridges where they were. Dad Tim had a highball.
The show was recorded at The Lab at Industry Hill. Industry Hill is a business-minded neighborhood in the former Warehouse District. In the district are restaurants, a chocolatier, a distillery, two breweries, a beverage company, an entertainment complex, textiles, packaging and much more to come. To find out more follow them on social media or visit the area’s website. Thanks so much to Industry Hill for having a place for us to bring you our podcasts.
